ABSi facilitates fast and accurate communication regarding food safety and due diligence matters between participants in the produce supply chain by means of the following mechanisms:
The Integrated Crop Management Assessment System (ICMAS) is an electronic evaluation programme that allows registered suppliers to demonstrate their compliance with a number of international commercial food safety and ethical standards. The ICMAS filter mechanisms enable stakeholders such as processors and packers, exporters, importers and markets to view suppliers' performance against existing or customised due diligence standards.
